By default and unless otherwise agreed to by both parties, the payouts are all non-cash and go towards ,mutually agreeable meals, hotel expenses and game tickets.  

The 49er Exception! 

• If any one of our Futility Bet teams is matched up against the 49ers in any Playoff Game, that team’s owner receives no payout at all for that team’s current Playoff run.  
  
  

• The only exception to this is if a Red team is matched up against the 49ers in the Super Bowl, that Red Team’s owner receives the first Super Bowl appearance payout before the game begins, regardless of the outcome of the Super Bowl.
  
  

•  Any team coming subject to the 49er Exception retains their current color status into the next NFL season.
